Our uLinga product range is aimed at modernisation of communications infrastructure within the Enterprise - particularly to enable integration between Legacy applications with minimal changes.
uLinga enables applications built on SNA infrastructure to implement a low-risk transition to IP infrastructure, while preserving the robustness required for these mission critical applications.
Read our uLinga Whitepaper for a discussion of infrastructure convergence.

uLinga for CICS
uLinga for CICS is a multi-platform implementation of a CICS IP Interconnectivity client or server. It enables access to CICS applications using the TCP/IP protocol that is natively supported by the CICS IP Interconnectivity software.
CICS IP Interconnectivity supports communication between one or more TCP/IP clients and CICS systems.
CICS IP Interconnectivity refers to the high-level facility supported by the CICS family, since CICS TS 3.2, which provides a transactional communications protocol between and into CICS via TCP/IP.
CICS applications that involve programs and transactions which have traditionally been invoked via SNA communications can now be migrated to a CICS IP Communications environment without any code changes.

uLinga for DLSw
uLinga for DLSw is a multi-platform implementation of Data Link Switching to provide SNA over TCP/IP connections.
It provides Node Type 2.1 (Low Entry Networking), PU 2.0 (as secondary) and PU 4/5 (as primary) node types, with application access via a SNALU,
SNAX/HLS, SNAX/APC or CRT conforming API. It provides online configuration and management via the ConsoleCon (CCON) facility.

uLinga for IMS
uLinga-IMS is a multi-platform implementation of an IMS Connect client. It enables access to IMS applications using the TCP/IP protocol that is natively supported by the IMS Connect software.
IMS Connect supports communication between one or more TCP/IP clients and IMS systems. IMS Connect uses TCP/IP for communication with clients and IMS OTMA for communication with IMS. With IMS Version 7 and IMS Version 8, IMS Connect is available as an IMS Tools product. With IMS Version 9 and later, IMS Connect is an integrated feature of IMS.
